Title

Towards the improvement of current knowledge about the common octopus pots and traps fishery in the northern Aegean Sea (2023-2024)

The project aims to carry out research activities in the main fishing grounds of Octopus Vulgaris in the northern Aegean Sea and includes the following activities:

• Scientific observations on octopus fishing vessels and collection of data on the species caught
• Underwater monitoring and videography of the octopus fishery using a drone (ROV) to monitor gear interactions with possible coexisting species and habitats.
